Its many natural, well-groomed toboggan runs have made the Wilder Kaiser region a popular destination for tobogganists. Four family-friendly toboggan runs with a combined length of more than 12 kilometres and some artificially snow-covered sections will get you up to speed in no time. The cable cars in Söll and Going take you quickly and comfortably up to the starting points. And even at dusk it's far from over: no less than four toboggan runs with lighting ensure lots of tobogganing fun at night.

Toboggan run rates
At the Wilder Kaiser, the mountain railways in Söll and Going/Ellmau take you quickly and easily up to the starting points of the winter toboggan runs. This way, your tobogganing experience in the Austrian mountains already starts on the ascent.
Important information
- Day/week/point/season tickets are not valid in the evening!
- All toboggan runs are closed for slope grooming between 5 pm and 6.30 pm!
- For night-time tobogganing, you can rent toboggans directly from the valley stations in Going and Söll.
Toboggan hire
Throw yourself into the tobogganing fun. You can easily rent the right equipment at the many rental stations in Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll.
Recommended equipment for tobogganing in the mountains
- High quality toboggan
- Safety helmet / ski helmet and ski goggles
- Ski pants or waterproof trousers and gaiters if necessary
- Gloves

Need a snack? These huts are located directly on the toboggan runs and are happy to provide you with Tyrolean dishes and warm drinks.
