The Wilder Kaiser region is the first Alpine area to receive the Austrian Hiking Seal of Quality. The Wilder Kaiser villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll in the Wilder Kaiser nature reserve are part of the Kitzbühel Alps-Wilder Kaiser e-bike region, the largest of its kind in the world.
In winter, the holiday region boasts the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, the largest and most modern ski resort in Austria. Keen on skiing action and fun? Look no further: The ski area comprises 9 villages, 284 km of fabulous slopes and 90 cable cars and lifts. Beyond the slopes, the best way to enjoy the winter landscape is to go snowshoeing in the countryside or take a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride through the snowy villages.
