All roads lead to the Wilder Kaiser region. The four villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll are located directly along the L178 Loferer Strasse road and are therefore easily and readily accessible. Head towards the impressive mountain massif, which will guide you safely to your booked accommodation. If you still need travel tips, you will find helpful information for your trip to the Wilder Kaiser region below.
The route section from the German border to the motorway exit Kufstein South has been toll-free since 15 December 2019. This means that you can travel to the Wilder Kaiser region without a great Vignette sticker!
Vignette toll stickers are mandatory on all Austrian motorways. A 10-day toll sticker costs €9.40 for cars and €5.40 for motorcycles. The toll sticker is available at almost all petrol stations and motorway service stations near the border. Coming from the north, the "Kiefersfelden" motorway service area is the last opportunity to buy a toll sticker.
