Crossing of the Kaiser from North to South with summit experience over the North ascent to Vorderen Goinger-Halt
Experience the fascination of imposing rock walls, a summit view all the way to the main chain of the Alps, and the sunny southern side of the Wilder Kaiser. From the Griesner Alm, we ascend securely via the Eggersteig (A, B) through the “STONE CHUTE,” always with a view of the steep, famous rock walls of Fleischbank and Predigtstuhl, where climbing history has been made. At the “ELLMAUER GATE,” the pass over to the southern side, we take a short break before we securely navigate easy climbing passages (1-2) over the North ascent to reach the summit of the Vorderen Goinger-Halt. Here, we are rewarded with a view over the Kitzbühel Alps all the way to the main chain of the Alps. We descend on the southern side to the Wochenbrunner Alm and enjoy the panorama over the Söllandl.
