Tourismusverband Wilder Kaiser tourist office will be happy to help you book accommodation in the valley for the night before and/or after your hike.
There is no luggage service available along the Kaiserkrone!

Information about the cabin sleeping bag

  • Gaudeamushütte and Gruttenhütte: please bring your own cabin sleeping bag.
  • Kaindlhütte: own sleeping bags are not allowed. Bed linen is available in the rooms, a cabin sleeping bag can be borrowed from the hut for the night in the camp.
  • Anton-Karg-Haus and Hans-Berger-Haus: own cabin sleeping bags are not allowed. These can be borrowed from the hut.
  • Stripsenjochhaus: please bring your own cabin sleeping bag. If the night before has been spent in another hut, a fresh cabin sleeping bag will be provided by the hut.

The five-day hike from hut to hut is one of the most beautiful multi-day circular tours in Tirol. It takes hikers along a route of around 65 kilometres, featuring ascents and descents with a difference in altitude of approximately 5,000 metres as they circle around the imposing Wilder Kaiser massif.
