80 KaiserJet
The KaiserJet connects the town centres of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll with all the valley stations of the mountain railways, the lakes, the Kaiserbad (outdoor pool, indoor pool, wellness centre, climbing centre, indoor tennis centre) and the attractions in the region. The free KaiserJet runs from mid-May to early October daily at half-hourly intervals and until the end of October daily at hourly intervals. In summer, the KaiserJet village evening bus also takes you to the four villages every evening. This means you can enjoy the summer concerts and village evenings without needing a car.

Hiking coaches
This free hiking bus runs daily between the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof bus stop and the Wochenbrunner Alm hiking starting point. You can also change at the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof bus stop to and from the KaiserJet and the regular bus services.
The Hintersteiner See hiking bus runs daily between the Scheffau P&R car park, through the village, and to Hintersteiner See. You can change at the Scheffau Dorf stop to and from the KaiserJet and the regular bus services.
During the peak season, the on-demand taxi service operates from the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof bus stop and from the Going area on request, taking you comfortably to the Hüttling hiking starting point.
Please book the taxi by 8 pm at the latest on the day before by calling: +43 (0)664 88002598 (Alternatively: +43 (0) 5358 21010). With the Wilder Kaiser GästeCard, use of the on-demand taxi is free.
From there, you’ll head straight to: the Kaiserkrone, the 3-day hut tour, the ‘Moor’ stage of the Kaiserblüte, tours to the Moor & More, and the Schleierwasserfall.

81 Village Evening Bus
In addition to the KaiserJet and the hiking buses, the KaiserJet village evening bus runs daily from the end of May to mid-September between 6.30 pm and 10.30 pm from Söll to Going and back, stopping at all the main stops in the evening. This makes it really easy for you to get to events such as the famous village evenings in Scheffau, the Z’sammkemma in Söll, the Ellmauer Sommernacht or Going LIVE.

Timetables from 7 April 2026

Please note that, due to our topographical location, we are only able to provide a limited number of accessible buses.
Mobility in winter
The free ski bus runs regularly between all ski bus stops within your holiday resorts in the Wilder Kaiser region. This means you can easily reach the individual valley stations of the SkiWelt cable cars and the village centres of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll without needing a car.

You are, of course, welcome to bring your dog on a lead on all regional buses, as well as on the free KaiserJet and ski bus. Please note that your dog must wear a muzzle during the journey.
Anyone who has a permanent main or secondary residence in the region and can therefore (in theory) use the VVT service 365 days a year is not covered by the passenger policy. This applies to all residents, including landlords. Since June 2019, VVT monthly travelcards have been available at every information office; any holder of a BürgerCard, FreizeitwohnsitzCard or StaffCard can borrow one free of charge up to 10 times a year and use it to travel on public transport throughout Tyrol! This scheme is 100 per cent funded by the Tourism Board.
Yes, the Wilder Kaiser Guest Card can also be sent in advance by email and printed at home.
In that case, unfortunately, you cannot use the free journey on the regular bus service and will need to buy a standard ticket. Alternatively, you can use the Wilder Kaiser station shuttle, which will take you directly to your accommodation. On the day of departure, you can use your guest card to travel free of charge on the public bus to the departure station.
Unfortunately, due to technical limitations, it is not possible for the landlord to issue a physical guest card before check-in.
In that case, you can travel by bus to Wörgl for free and only need to buy a train ticket from Wörgl to Innsbruck (at the ticket office, via ticket.vvt.at or from the bus driver).
