Description

Start from the Stripsenjochhaus mountain hut heading south on path 812. After the first steep section, turn on to the “Wildanger” and walk south on the Eggersteig trail towards the Ellmauer Tor. Heading along the exposed crossing, which is secured in some sections, you come to the Steinerne Rinne cirque. This is one of the most fascinating trails, taking you on a seemingly endless climb up into the Ellmauer Tor.
