Travel insurance – hotel cancellation cover

If you are unable to go on holiday because you unexpectedly fall ill or other unforeseeable events occur, we recommend taking out cancellation cover. Even in the event of circumstances such as failing a school-leaving exam or losing your job, European Travel Insurance’s cancellation cover applies. You are also insured against mountain emergencies and the associated rescue costs!
If the insurance is taken out at the time of booking, cover begins immediately. Didn’t take out insurance when you booked, but have changed your mind? No problem!
It’s still possible to take out insurance at a later date: in this case, cover for cancellation is only valid from the 10th day after the policy is taken out. All other insurance benefits are not subject to a waiting period and are valid in full immediately.
