Tourist tax: €3.50 per person per night from 1 December 2025

Your contribution to services and infrastructure.
The visitor’s tax (also known as the ‘Kurtaxe’ or ‘Ortstaxe’) is based on a statutory regulation of the Province of Tyrol and serves to promote tourism in Tyrol. The landlord is obliged to collect the visitor’s tax on behalf of the Province of Tyrol. A large proportion of the revenue goes to the Wilder Kaiser Tourist Board, which uses it to fund, amongst other things, tourist infrastructure, printed materials, guest services, ski and hiking buses, and events.

In the Wilder Kaiser holiday region, a tourist tax of €3.50 per person per night applies in all four towns from 1 December 2025. Overnight stays by persons up to the end of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 15 are exempt from the tourist tax.
