Please note:
All climbing is at your own risk. Via Ferrata climbing equipment is mandatory (harness, lanyard, helmet). Climbing gloves are recommended. Climbing is from bottom to top only! Tackle the via ferrata only if you are sure-footed, have a good head for heights and are physically fit.

Coming from the direction of Waidring, Erpfendorf, Kirchdorf, head towards St. Johann in Tirol. Follow the B178 and turn right towards Kirchdorf. At the church in Kirchdorf take the Gasteiger Straße in the direction of Kössen/Schendt. Drive slightly uphill on the B176. You will then pass the Kirchdorf district of Gasteig and shortly afterwards you will reach Griesenau, where you turn left into Kaiserbachtal. Follow that road to Gasthaus Griesner Alm.

In the summer months, take the Okto hiking bus to the Kaiserbachtal car park stop in comfort and free of charge.
