INNSBRUCK NATURE FILM FESTIVAL on Tour – Wilder Kaiser

A day full of nature experiences for all ages as part of the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival on Tour:

3:00 PM – Forest Tour for Adults
With Clemens Geitner (University of Innsbruck) on the 2024 hailstorm damage and the HILUC research project.
Meeting point: Volksschule Söll | Duration: approx. 1.5 hours

3:00 PM – Forest Discovery for Children
With forest educators. Please bring sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a water bottle.

7:00 PM – Film Screening & Panel Discussion
The Wild Forest (Germany 2021, dir. Lisa Eder, 90 min, German)
Followed by a panel discussion on deadwood and climate-resilient mountain forests, including reference to the 2024 hailstorm.

Speakers include experts from the University of Innsbruck and the District Forestry Office Kufstein.
