This three-day cottage hike on the south side of the Wilder Kaiser is a short version of the Kaiserkrone. This tour of approx. 33 kilometres and about 2,500 altitude metres in the ascent and about 2,600 altitude metres in the descent leads Going, Hüttling to the Walleralm in Scheffau via the Hintersteiner lake along the Kaiserkrone route and then via the Jagersteig, Hinterschießlingalm and through the fascinating Rehbachklamm back to Scheffau in the valley.
The hiking and bath bus "KaiserJet" will return you to the starting point in Going. The 3-day cottage hike is an ideal hike for a long weekend, targeted at classic mountain hikers with section lengths of eight to 13.5 kilometres and walking times of five to six hours per day (average calculation in a small group without breaks and adjusted top experience).
It is accessible from June until Mid-October, depending on snow. Different accesses, easy and difficult alternative routes along the path permit very flexible and individual route planning. The sections can be hiked as day hikes from the valley as well.
