Declaration of accessibility
Website www.wilderkaiser.info
in accordance with Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523 of 11 October 2018 establishing a model accessibility statement pursuant to Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
Declaration on accessibility
The Wilder Kaiser Tourist Board endeavours to make its website accessible in accordance with Section 14b of the Tyrolean Anti-Discrimination Act 2005 on the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1).
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.wilderkaiser.info
Status of compatibility and requirements
This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1"according to the applicable harmonised European standard "European Standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08)" due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
Non-accessible content
Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
The alternative text is missing for some images so that this information is not accessible for screen reader users. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) is not met.
Disproportionate load
Our videos are hosted and published on the video platform Youtube. It is not possible to provide the required audio descriptions for some of these videos. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that a correction would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of the accessibility regulations.
The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
Live videos are not subtitled. This means that WCAG success criterion 1.2.4 (live subtitles) is not fulfilled. We do not plan to subtitle live videos, as live videos are excluded from Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
PDF and Word documents used on the website are not accessible. For example, they are not tagged so that they cannot be recognised by screen reader users or only insufficiently with structural information. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled. If you require content from one of our PDF or Word documents, please contact us. We will endeavour to provide you with the information in a different form.
The presentation of our website is based on current technical possibilities and standards. If you notice any problems with the realisation of individual elements, please pass on your suggestions to us.
