Free parking and onward journey to the hiking starting point

The starting point of the Kaiserkrone and the 3-day hut tour is in Going: Hüttling at the Aschingerkapelle (840m).

Travelling to the hiking starting point

To get to the Hüttling hiking starting point, you can use the Hüttling hiking bus free of charge. The hiking bus runs several times a day from the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof bus stop to the Hüttling hiking starting point and back. You can change from/to the KaiserJet and the public buses at the Going bathing lake.

ATTENTION!

Permanent parking is not permitted at the hiking start car park in Hüttling ! This is a day car park where parking tickets are only valid on the day they are issued. (Illegally parked vehicles will be reported to the police and towed away).

The Hüttling car park is a public car park from May to October. In the winter months from November to April, the car park is not supervised. During this time, use of the car park is at your own risk! Long-term parking is also prohibited at the Going bathing lake!

Travelling by train

The Wilder Kaiser region is ideal for travelling by train. The nearest railway stations are Kufstein, Wörgl, Kitzbühel and St. Johann/Tyrol. Postbuses run regularly from there to the regional towns. The KaiserJet takes you directly to Going free of charge. There you can take the Hüttling hiking bus up to the starting point and begin your long-distance hike.
