Welcome to the Wilder Kaiser

The Kaisergebirge mountain range lies in the eastern part of the Austrian state of Tirol, around an hour’s drive from Innsbruck, Salzburg or Munich. The Wilder Kaiser massif stretches roughly from St. Johann in Tirol to Kufstein, with the villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll nestled along its southern foothills. Facing the rugged peaks of the Wilder Kaiser are the gentle, grassy slopes of the Kitzbühel Alps – home to the region’s ski area, SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental, which can be accessed from any of the four villages in the valley.
