Ski touring in the Wilder Kaiser
Ski touring on and off the marked slopes
When ski touring, you experience the mountains of Tyrol from a truly unique perspective. An unspoilt, snow-covered winter landscape in the Wilder Kaiser or the Kitzbühel Alps captivates with its absolute tranquillity and breathtaking views. The feeling of freedom and lightness whilst skiing down powder snow or on firn cannot be described – it can only be experienced!
Off-piste ski touring is also possible in the Wilder Kaiser region. A particular highlight is the evening ski tour on the Hartkaiser.
Ski touring on the slopes
In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, ski touring is permitted exclusively on the signposted routes listed below. Please note the opening hours and the open slopes in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental! Otherwise, ski touring on the slopes is strictly prohibited without exception!
Outside operating hours, the slopes are groomed using, amongst other things, winch-operated snow groomers. The cables can be extended to a length of up to 1,000 metres. As soon as the snow groomer pulls on the cable, it can swing out to the side by up to 40 metres. This poses a life-threatening danger to anyone on the piste.
For your own safety and that of the snow groomer operators, please do not underestimate the danger outside of lift operating hours.
Access is strictly at your own risk. The mountain railway accepts no liability!
Safety is our priority – thank you for your understanding.
