What to do if it rains whilst on holiday? Even in the rain, the countryside around the Wilder Kaiser is still lovely.
Even when it rains, there are plenty of ways to enjoy a varied holiday in the Wilder Kaiser region. Good options include, for example, indoor activities at the KaiserBad Ellmau, yoga sessions, cultural attractions, gourmet and craft businesses, as well as events in the four Kaiser towns Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll. Thanks to its central location, day trips to Kufstein, Wörgl, Innsbruck or Salzburg are also possible.
The mountain railways in our region remain in operation even when it rains. However, operations may be briefly suspended in the event of heavy gusts of wind or thunderstorms.
The mountain adventure parks still offer a varied and exciting programme on rainy days – definitely worth a visit!
We’re currently doing our very best to ensure that the sun shines down on our four towns again soon. ;)
