Toboggan runs in Ellmau, Going and Söll
With its natural and superbly maintained winter toboggan runs, the Wilder Kaiser region in Tyrol has long been known and loved as a “tobogganing hotspot”. A total of over 12 kilometres – some of which are snow-covered and spread across four family-friendly toboggan runs – ensure that you’ll really get up to speed.
The mountain railways in Söll and Going take you quickly and comfortably up to the starting points. And even at dusk, the fun is far from over: no fewer than four toboggan runs, complete with floodlights, provide plenty of night-time tobogganing fun.

The Astberg toboggan run in Ellmau-Going, as well as the Moon toboggan run and the Hexenritt in Söll, have been awarded the Tyrolean Natural Toboggan Run Seal of Quality.

In the Wilder Kaiser region, the mountain railways in Söll and Going/Ellmau take you quickly and easily up to the starting points of the winter toboggan runs. So your tobogganing adventure in the Austrian mountains begins as soon as you start your ascent.

Important information
- Day, weekly, points and season tickets are not valid in the evening!
- Between 5.00 pm and 6.30 pm, the toboggan runs are closed whilst the slopes are being groomed!
- For night tobogganing, you can hire toboggans directly at the valley station in Going or in Söll.
Sled hire
Throw yourself into the fun of tobogganing. You can easily hire the right equipment from the many hire outlets in Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll.
