Just over an hour from Innsbruck, Salzburg or Munich, the Kaiser Mountains rise in the eastern part of the Tyrol. The Wilder Kaiser massif lies roughly between Kitzbühel and Kufstein, with the four Kaiser villages – Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll – nestled on its sunny side.
