The alpine hut is located directly on the Wilder Kaiser at 1,085 m and is also easily accessible by car or bus. Ideally suited for wheelchair users: The hut features wheelchair-accessible parking spaces and toilet facilities, ample space and a level floor for a pleasant stay. Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof stop and the Wochenbrunner Alm hiking starting point.
In addition, it is possible to change at the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof stop from/to the
KaiserJet and the VVT-Regiobus lines 865 and 866.

Heading
from Wörgl or Kufstein on the B178 road, take the first exit to Ellmau and
then take the first exit at the roundabout. Drive straight on until you reach
the junction (green signs - leading towards
Kaiserbad/Kaisergebirge/Wochenbrunn). Turn left here, then turn right
immediately after passing the bus stop. Follow the road until you reach the
Wochenbrunner Alm car park.

Coming from Wörgl or Kufstein on the B178 federal road, take the first exit to Ellmau and then take the first exit at the roundabout. Follow the road straight ahead until you reach the junction (green signs - direction Kaiserbad/Kaisergebirge/Wochenbrunn). Turn left here and then right immediately after the bus stop. Now follow the road to the end, the car park of the Wochenbrunner Alm.
