As well as the short and challenging Klamml via ferrata and the practice via ferrata on the south face, the Wilder Kaiser also offers two long and demanding via ferratas on the north face.
Beginners will find ideal conditions in the tourism association’s weekly programme and in the region’s mountain guides to safely take their first steps on the combination of rock and steel.

Climbing at the Wilder Kaiser
Whether it’s your first attempts at climbing on the practice walls, challenging sport climbing at the highest difficulty level, or an exciting alpine climbing route – in the diverse climbing area of the Wilder Kaiser, everyone can find the right route for them and enjoy a completely personalised climbing experience. In bad weather, the Ellmau indoor climbing centre and the bouldering and climbing centres in the surrounding villages are available as perfect alternatives.
