Description
From the parking lot of the Griesner Alm, hike on an initially wide gravel path and later on a trail through the forest towards the Stripsenjochhaus. Before the last climb in serpentines to the Stripsenjochhaus, turn left onto the Eggersteig 812 until you reach the foot of the Fleischbank peak. From here on, the trail is very exposed and only partially rope-secured. After a traverse of the Nordabbruch, you reach the fascinating Steinerne Rinne. Hemmed in by the imposing walls of Predigtstuhl and Fleischbank, you climb in many serpentines through the Steinerne Rinne to the Ellmauer Tor. Enjoy the impressive...

On the B176 in Griesenau at Gasthof Griesenau turn west into Kaiserbachtal. Pass the tollbooth and follow the road past the Fischbachalm to the car park at the Griesner Alm inn.
