Hexenwasser Söll
Marvel - grasp - understand
The Hexenwasser Mountain Adventure World in Söll in Tyrol has been delighting children and adults with its gentle natural spectacles for twenty years. Stations, paths and chambers of wonder can be explored partly on your own and partly under supervision. Austria's longest barefoot path leads over grass, bark mulch, massaging stones and rippling water to numerous stations where all the senses are stimulated anew. Throughout the area, at the foot of the Hohe Salve, there is something to discover everywhere and free witchcraft programmes, activities and demonstrations are always waiting.
To gain an even deeper insight into the old legends, customs and wisdom of the ladies in pointed hats, exclusive HeXpeditions await in the Hexenwasser. The witches take the time for their guests, the "time with the witch", and let them lend a hand, work and taste at the supervised Hexenwasser stations.

The witches send us raindrops to make us rain and move. This is known to bring blessings. With weatherproof clothing, you will experience an unforgettable day in the witches' water. Visit the AmViehTheaterand enjoy a unique barn experience. Get to know the cows and learn everything you need to know about the grazing animals. With your visit, you will cultivate the important friendship between cows and humans.
If you prefer to stay indoors, we recommend the Blue Wonder indoor facility, which playfully explores the secrets and mysteries of water. Experiment with the "source of life" and explore the special features of our elixir of life. Alternatively, you can get a taste of everyday life in a mountain pasture when you visit the 400-year-old Simonalm. Among other things, you can experience old cooking traditions by making your own butter, grinding grain and turning it into bread dough. In the witchery, you can experience the craftsmanship and living culture of earlier generations. Together with the witches, you can work, cook, sew and conjure in the old parlours of the farmhouse.
If you want to get up high, take the Hohe Salve gondola lift to the summit of the Hohe Salve and visit Austria's highest pilgrimage church, the Salvenkirchlein. At 1,829 metres, enjoy an impressive view of the surrounding mountains and over 70 three-thousand metre peaks.
Dogs are often bewitched by witches and you might come home with a guinea pig or a fish. This won't happen if you keep your dog on a lead and always keep a close eye on him. Please remember not to let your dogs into the water and to remove any dog faeces. The Hexenwasser Söll has its own dog bathing areas.
If you would like to visit the Hexenwasser as a group or school class, please contact the Söll mountain railway in advance and register.
