You can reach the Jochstub'n as following:

from Ellmau: ascent with the "Hartkaiserbahn", from the mountain station via the Panoramaweg No. 11 to Jochstub´n, approx. one hour walking time

from Scheffau: ascent with the "Brandstadlbahn", from the mountain station via the Panoramaweg No. 11 and Eiberg-Rundwanderweg to Jochstub´n, approx. 35 minutes walking time

Sun-seekers have it well on the Jochstub'n, because the sun shines all day on the large terrace in front of the romantic Almhütte. The guests enjoy this, and the wonderful view up here, in summer as well as in winter.
