Important Information

In winter, the forest path on the south bank can be difficult to walk on when there is a lot of fresh snow or a risk of black ice due to weather conditions. Suitable footwear, spikes and walking sticks are recommended.

The paved path on the north bank is easily accessible all year round.

Description

The starting point for this circular walk is on the eastern shore at Café Restaurant Seestüberl. From there, follow the paved path no. 822 along the northern shore to Goingstätt and Pension Maier, enjoying the magnificent view of the frozen lake. Shortly before Pension Maier, turn left and follow the signs towards Seestüberl (path no. 822) until you reach the forest path on the south shore. Please note: the following section is not cleared and may be difficult to pass depending on the weather conditions (black ice/fresh snow)....
