Description
This time you start up on the mountain, directly at the top station of the Astberg chair lift. The Astberg lake, which is rightly called the 'mirror of the Wilder Kaiser', is also located up here.
Walk in the direction of the Blattlalm and then turn right onto the meadow path. From there, the path leads into a small forest. Heading from St. Johann on the B178 road, take the first exit on the left after Going (Hotel Blattlhof) – this leads to the Astbergbahn chairlift. Turn left again at the end of this road. You will reach the Astbergbahn chairlift after approx. 300 m." car park.
