Travel environmentally friendly to the Wilder Kaiser by train and secure a bonus

Just lean back and off you go: The mobility experts in the Wilder Kaiser region will help you choose the best, fastest and cheapest train connection to the Wilder Kaiser and assist you with your booking. A free shuttle will be waiting at Kufstein or Wörgl train station to take you to your accommodation. We will organise the transfer for you. On site, YOU can enjoy an extensive and also free mobility offer. All excursion destinations and hiking starting points can be reached by regional buses, the KaiserJet, hiking and bathing buses. For your environmentally friendly train journey, you will also receive a 10% discount on ski hire in winter and bike hire in summer and a voucher for the DB bistro.

Dealing with delays:


In the event of a delay, the free transfer is only guaranteed if the arrival is on the same train number.

The bonus for a green arrival can only be claimed for bookings via the Wilder Kaiser Tourism Association or direct bookings with the respective host.

Extended offer for the green journey

Alpliner
The Alpliner takes you three times a week from Stuttgart, Mannheim and Frankfurt am Main directly to the Wilder Kaiser. With just 42 seats and a seat pitch of 91 centimetres, the bus offers additional comfort for all passengers. The Alpliner also offers plenty of space for pushchairs, bicycles and skis. There is a small kitchen on board for connoisseurs.

FlixBus
The FlixBus long-distance bus operates over 400,000 connections in Europe. The route network is being continuously expanded throughout Europe and also stops in Kufstein and Wörgl. Thanks to the guaranteed seating on the buses, you can relax. Bicycles can also be taken on long-distance buses.

Stress-free, relaxed and without traffic jams: with the train, your holiday starts with the journey. The Wilder Kaiser region with the towns of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll is easily accessible via Kufstein and Wörgl railway stations. With the green arrival bonus, you receive a free transfer to your booked accommodation and back to the railway station on your return journey. The mobility coaches in the Wilder Kaiser region will be happy to advise you and inform you about the best train connections.

Notes and conditions of the green journey

  • Free local mobility (public buses can always be used / Kaiserjet & hiking buses run in summer)
  • Valid for all direct bookings with the host and bookings via the Wilder Kaiser Tourism Association, not via other portals such as booking.com
  • The shuttle must be booked at least 72 hours before arrival and is subject to availability (especially public holidays!); please note our opening hours from Mon-Fri 08:00-18:00
  • The 10% discount on hire is granted on the list price. Cannot be combined with other promotions and discounts. Your train ticket is sufficient proof for hire.

Local Transport in the Wilder Kaiser region
With the KaiserJet and the local hiking and ski buses, you can get around the Wilder Kaiser in a relaxed and climate-friendly way all year round. In winter, the free ski buses ensure short distances to the lifts and pistes. In summer, the KaiserJet takes you from village to village and directly to mountain lifts, swimming lakes and hiking starting points.
