Crossing the Kaiser from north to south
The tour begins with a taxi ride to the Griesner Alm (1,024 m). From there, you ascend via the Eggersteig trail through the ‘Steinerne Rinne’, accompanied by the sight of the famous rock faces of the Fleischbank and Predigtstuhl. Take a short break at the Ellmauer Tor (2,001 m). You then climb the summit of the Vordere Goinger Halt (2,242 m), secured by easy climbing passages. At the top, you can enjoy an impressive view across the Kitzbühel Alps to the main Alpine ridge. The descent is via the sunny south side to the Wochenbrunner Alm (1,085 m) with a marvellous panorama.
