The imposing mountain massif will show you the way and guide you safely to your booked accommodation. Location and arrival

Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll

Tip

The single lane on the Brenner motorway due to the "Luegbrücke" construction site lasting several years and the associated risk of traffic jams do not affect the accessibility of the Wilder Kaiser region!

Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll are easily accessible from the north (Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland, etc.), from the east (Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc.) and from the west (Switzerland). Coming from Italy, there is the option of travelling via East Tyrol/Felbertauern.

Toll free

to the Wilder Kaiser region

The section of road from the state border to the Kufstein Süd motorway exit is completely toll-free.
This means you can travel to the Wilder Kaiser region without a toll sticker! Otherwise, vignettes are compulsory on all motorways in Austria. You can get the vignette at almost all petrol stations and motorway service stations.

Tip

Here you will find all the latest information on the vignette and route toll.
