Mountain Hike to the Sonnenstein

We hike from Scheffau over idyllic alpine pastures and rocky paths to the "secret" summit Sonnenstein at 1.714 m. A wonderful view is waiting for you! Tip: take binoculars with you - with a little luck you will catch a glimpse of wild chamois.

approx. 900 meters in altitude | approx. 12 km | teens/children aged 14 and over accompanied by parents (must be sure-footed)

Participants: min. 3, max. 15 persons
Equipment: good physical condition, good walking shoes, sun- or wet weather clothes, hiking sticks, drinks and a snack

Difficulty level: moderate and partially difficult, total walking time aprox. 5 h, the hike requires good physical condition and some experience when walking along narrow, rocky paths

The guided hikes change weekly between the mountain tour to the Sonnenstein and the hike from Scheffau to Gruttenhütte.

Cancellation fee: Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the activity program, after that 100% of the costs will be charged. If the program does not take place, there are no cancellation fees.
