Hohe Salve Söll
Tyrol's most beautiful panoramic mountain
At 1,829 metres, the Hohe Salve offers magnificent views of the Wilder Kaiser in the direction of Söll. The panoramic setting of one of Tyrol’s most scenic peaks is a mountain experience in its own right. And those who have just come up from Hexenwasser won’t be disappointed at the summit either – the Salven Giant is there to greet visitors as they arrive at the mountain station.
Tip
Don't forget your binoculars!
If you have binoculars, we recommend taking them with you up the Hohe Salve. From the summit you can see over 70 three-thousand metre peaks.
Important information
The Hohe Slave can be reached from two locations: Söll and Hopfgarten each offer a gondola lift to the summit. Please note that you have to change cable cars once at the middle station in Söll and Hopfgarten - they are just a few metres apart.
It is generally possible to hike to the summit of the Hohe Salve. If you prefer the more leisurely option and would like to ascend with one of the cable cars, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental tariffs apply.
Tip
Paragliding from the Hohe Salve - unique tandem flights
The Hohe Salve is a popular launch site, as the very good thermal conditions and the unique landscape make every flight something special.
