Up to 1,550 metres in just 9 minutes: the Hartkaiser 10-seater gondola lift takes guests from the valley station in Ellmau straight to the hiking paradise and to Ellmi’s Magic World. The modern gondola cabins feature Wi-Fi and heated seats, and are wheelchair and pushchair accessible. The stunning view of the Wilder Kaiser accompanies you throughout the journey.

Once you reach the top, there are plenty of options to choose from: enjoy the Kaiser panorama, visit Ellmi’s Magic World , stop for a cosy refreshment, enjoy a hike, relax by the reservoir – or, better still, do it all at once. A trip up the Hartkaiser is definitely well worth it.

The midway station will remain open up to and including 26 October .
After that, it will no longer be possible to board or alight there.
The Hartkaiserbahn will continue to take you to the mountain station until 8 November 2026.

Söll Mountain Railways

Two red cable cars travel over lush green hills in the Wilder Kaiser region, with vibrant wildflowers in the foreground and majestic mountains in the background.
