Adventure programme and playgrounds in the Wilder Kaiser region

All young guests and families visiting the Wilder Kaiser are invited to take part in the tourist board’s varied and free programme of activities. Every year, there is a new, special nature-themed theme, which is brought to life in a creative way. This year, everything revolves around the mascot “Spinne Spinnfried”.

Family programme Playgrounds

Spider Spinnfried - motto of the Tyrolean Family Nests 2026

A web of courage and friendship
Spinnfried is a little spider with great art in his heart. He weaves beautiful webs high up in the attic - but nobody sees them because Spinnfried is terrified of the outside world. It is only when the wind carries away his favourite web that he plucks up all his courage and ventures out.

He loses one of his colourful socks, but gains something much more valuable: new friends, a great adventure and confidence in himself. Together with Konrad the beetle and many others, he discovers that the world is not so dangerous after all - and that sometimes you just have to set off to find happiness.
