Seven Mountain Adventure Worlds
Experience and understand nature through play
The Wilder Kaiser region in Tyrol has the highest density of MountainExperienceWorlds in the whole of Austria. They invite you to consciously discover nature in a playful and exciting way.
It all started over ten years ago with the Hexenwasser in Hochsöll on the Hohe Salve. There, Austria's longest barefoot trail leads to 60 adventure stations where there is plenty to feel, see and hear. Ellmi's Zauberwelt on the Hartkaiser in Ellmau awakens the spirit of discovery and exploration on a fairytale hike. On the Brandstadl, children of all ages will find the KaiserWelt Scheffau, an adventure play park in the enchanted Kaiserwald forest with its own castle. The Astberg Pony Alm offers a true paradise for little horse lovers in particular. You can explore the area comfortably on horseback and experience various stations along the way.
Tip
Paths suitable for pushchairs
In all Mountain Adventure Worlds in the Wilder Kaiser region (Hexenwasser Söll, Hohe Salve, KaiserWelt Scheffau, Ellmi's Zauberwelt, Ponyalm Astberg) there are paths suitable for pushchairs. It is also possible to transport pushchairs on the 8 or 10-seater gondola lifts up to the adventure worlds.
From May to October, the Mountain Adventure Worlds can be reached on foot or free of charge by cable car with a valid hiking pass, are largely accessible for pushchairs and wheelchair users and are connected by panoramic trails. In the valley, the free KaiserJet bathing and hiking bus takes you back to your starting point in comfort.
