In March & for Easter (06.03. - 03.04.) the Bergdoktor practice can be visited every Friday from 09:30 to 12:00.

... following in the footsteps of the mountain doctor ... The Hinterschnabel farm is mentioned in the village history around 1694. In 1985, Mr. Johann Leitner took over his mother's farm. Before the film crew from NDF's Mountain Doctor noticed the farm, the residential building stood empty. Meadows and fields are still cultivated by Mr. Leitner. The residential section was gladly handed over to the Mountain Doctor film team and lovingly converted into a practice. The people of Ellmau are proud of the new landmark that is now admired each week by about 7 million television viewers and inspires a...
