Ellmi's Adventure World at the top of Hartkaiser

Come and be enchanted by Ellmi's Zauberwelt in Ellmau in Tyrol. You glide from the valley high up to the fabulous Hartkaiser with the funicular. When you arrive at the top exciting adventures are waiting for you.

What grows and what blossoms here? What is crawling and flying over there? So many things to play with, to discover and to be amazed by!

Welcome to the land of fantasy and magic!

Having an adventure is really easy in Ellmi's magic world: Go to start and begin looking for the 5 seals. Your adventure map shows you the way. Along the way the magic forest tells you exciting stories. Take care not to get too close to any goblins! When you have all the seals, there is a little surprise waiting for you.

The entire magic world is open until October 26th. "We start with the dismantling on October 27. Ellmi's Puzzle Rally will be in full operation until November 7, as well as all play areas & attractions in the Enchanted Forest and Goblin Meadow."

Note: In winter the frog hibernates. A short winter walk through Ellmi's magic forest takes about half an hour.
You can also enjoy the sun terrace at the Hartkaiser in winter.

History of Ellmi and the Magic Wand

Once upon a time there was a mighty magician who ruled the magic forest of the Hartkaiser. His name was Tumaris. He was well known to all forest dwellers, for he provided peace and order with his magic wand. The young Ellmatio was with him as a sorcerer's apprentice and helped the master. One day, however, Ellmatio violated the supreme rule of the magic forest. As punishment Tumaris turned him into a frog. So Ellmatio became Ellmi. But Ellmi didn't feel at all comfortable in his green skin. To turn back into a boy, he stole the magic wand from Tumaris. But magic is an art and Ellmi was far too inexperienced. All his attempts went wrong. Instead of freeing himself, he made a terrible spell mistake and closed the Tumari's cave with a large stone. But now he knew that only the great master could change him back. He absolutely had to free him again.

So he summoned up all his courage, lifted the magic wand and cast his spell in a trembling voice. There was a deafening bang, a mighty lightning went through the trees, the magic wand swirled wildly through the air - and it became quite dark around Ellmi. Tumaris was freed, but now Ellmi was trapped under the big stone. And there was no trace of the magic wand. But without the wand Tumaris cannot keep order. The chaos in the magic forest gets worse from day to day. Where is the magic wand? Help Tumaris in his search and save the magic forest!
