Alpinolino Westendorf
A little miracle – every day
On the Talkaser – a scenic mountain plateau high above Westendorf in the Brixental Valley – the Alpinolino mountain park blends playful discovery with natural-history knowledge in a fun and imaginative way. Children can challenge squirrels and hares in the long jump, complete the marmot rally, or practise hiding like the quick-footed dwellers of the alpine meadows.
Alpinolino’s own mountain guide, the clever “Schlauberger”, transforms the whole family into nature detectives. With the touch box, scent station and tree telephone, there’s plenty to marvel at and explore. Here, animals make the best mountain guides.

Important information
The Alpinolino mountain adventure park is easily accessible via the Westendorf cable car. The ascent on the Alpenrosenbahn is suitable for both pushchairs and wheelchairs – please note, however, that the cable car door width is 60 cm. Ample free parking is available at the valley station.
You can either hike along the Holzwurmweg trail to the mid-station and continue from there by cable car, or take the Alpenrosenbahn cable car directly from the valley to the Alpinolino mountain park at 1,800 metres above sea level. The lift is part of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental area, and standard lift pass conditions apply.
Many adventures await young and old explorers in the Alpinolino Mountain Adventure World. The "Climb to the Sky" themed hiking trail takes you around the 1,886 metre-high "Guggenkögele" summit and also allows children to enjoy a spectacular summit victory at the end. During the circular hike, you will come to several play stations that bring you closer to nature, mountains and wildlife.
From the middle station, the woodworm trail leads you past numerous puzzle stations and down into the valley. The tour is well signposted and offers a variety of refreshment stops. On the themed hiking trail, you will also come across surprises that will amaze young and old alike.
