Floodlit slopes in Austria's largest night skiing area
The Wilder Kaiser parish of Söll becomes a white arena at the foot of the Hohe Salve day and night in winter. As dusk falls, an armada of piste bashers sets forth to prepare the slopes of Hochsöll ready for the night skiing.
Once again in Winter 2017/18 the largest night skiing area in Austria offers 10 km of great conditions on the flood lit pistes down to the valley with the Hochsöll, Hexen6er und Salvenmoos lifts from Wednesday to Saturday. The longest night slope in Austria offers fun on the slope until late in the evening as the valley run is lit until 10.15 pm.
It invokes a special feeling to carve some turns on a freshly prepared piste in the solitariness of the night. Not just for guests it is also popular with locals enjoying and after-work ski. Having taken off the skis after an evening run, it's not far to the fun of après ski.
