Skiing, Tobogganing, Snowtubing, Night skiing, Funparks and lots more
Families soon feel at home in the Wilder Kaiser region. Even better, because they are on holiday, which means they have time to sample and enjoy all the leisure and sporting activities; new experiences in nature; and new impressions.
The winter family holiday in the Wilder Kaiser region becomes particularly attractive when taking advantage of the Family Ski Weeks. From the beginning of the winter season until 20th December and for Easter skiing from 15th to 30th March 2014, children under 15 can use all the lifts in the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental for free when accompanied by one parent with a lift pass for three days or more.
Throughout the whole winter season families can find a wide spectrum of sporting activities and relaxation in the winter wonderland around the four Kaiser villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll.
One of these are the themed walks for the whole family, like the film location hike when Peter the walking guide leads his guests to the locations of the TV-series "Der Bergdoktor" and to other film locations. Whether a night walk with campfire, torchlit walk or dog sledge ride, the winter weekly programme of the holiday region promises lively adventures for non-skiing families of a leisurely end to an action-packed day in Austria's largest ski area.
