You start at the Ellmau hiking info point and walk/run in the direction of the church to the Gasthof Au. Immediately after the inn you bear right and follow the small path along the stream to the bridge. After the bridge bear left. This is the start of the Ellmau fitness trail. A keep fit course with various stations takes you around the 9-hole golf course. The trail ends with a 1,000 m run. Then it’s back to the starting point.
