On Saturday, September 18, 2027, the Söll village center will once again transform into a meeting point for lived Tyrolean tradition. Starting at 11:00 a.m., visitors can look forward to a festive Almabtrieb with elaborately decorated cows, music, and regional delicacies. We look forward to your visit!

Description

Early in the morning on the day of the Almabtrieb at the end of September, the cows are festively "dressed up" - as a symbol and thanks for an accident-free summer in the alpine pastures. The herdsmen drive the animals past the Hochsöll mountain inn into the valley. The federal music band plays when the alpine cattle arrive in the village at around 11:30 a.m. and return to their home stables. The successful homecoming of the alpine cattle and herdsmen is a feast for all senses every year anew in Söll and the Wilder Kaiser region.
