At the parking lot of the municipality of Scheffau, you have the ideal starting point to explore the Scheffau village center and walking & hiking trails around Scheffau. The public restroom is located directly across from the municipal office.

At the same time, the parking lot is a starting point for hikes such as Rehbach Gorge, Scheffau Village Loop, Kneipp Loop or a hike to Hintersteiner See.

E-Bike & Climb - Multerkarwand

The Multerkarwand crag is located at the foot of the wall Treffauer at about 1,500 m and is perfect to significantly shorten the approach with the help of an e-bike. The rock is crisscrossed by beautiful water grooves and offers several slab routes whereby beginners will find ideal conditions especially in the left wall area. To the right of it, experienced climbers will find wonderful sport climbing routes of medium difficulty. There are also several multi-pitch sport climbing routes to choose from. The crag is also a popular climbing area in autumn. Access time by foot: approx. 30 minutes
