Welcome to Haus Horngacher in the picturesque village Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser. The best thing of our house is the proximity to the forest and the breathtaking view of the valley – an ideal place to relax.

In summer, the location is a perfect starting point for hiking tours. Thanks to numerous hiking trails, you will for sure have a delightful holiday in the Wilder Kaiser region. One of the perks for mountain bikers is the proximity of our house to the bike trail that leads through the region.

The bus station is only a stone’s throw away. If you want to go skiing, just get on the bus and it takes you directly to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. In addition, the region is an inviting place for extensive winter walks and the unspoiled countryside could have been made for cross-country skiing.

We had a great stay at appartment Horngacher in Scheffau. The appartment is perfect for 2 persons. The skibus stops right infront of the appartment and within 5-10 minutes drops you off at the main skilift. We even chose to walk on several days because the weather was so nice, this only took us 10 minutes. The owner of the appartement gave us a very warm welcome and made sure we had all the information we needed for a great week of skiing. Would definetely recommend Haus Horngacher!

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male im Apartment und fühlen uns wie zu Hause und bei Freunden. Eine Herzliche Atmosphäre der Gastgeber und ein wunderschönes Apartment tragen immer wieder zu einem unvergesslichen Urlaub bei. Wir bedanken uns bei Familie Horngacher und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal!

Mooi schoon vernieuwd appartement. Met alle benodigheden in de keuken. De skibus stopt voor de deur en er is een aparte ruimte waar je je skispullen 's avonds kan laten drogen. De lift is 10 minuten lopen, dus als je 's avonds nog een drankje doet, kan je ook gewoon terug naar het appartement lopen. Ook op loopafstand een bakker en restaurants. 5 minuten rijden en je bent bij een supermarkt. Wij vonden het erg warm in het appartement, hierdoor konden we 's avonds niet goed slapen. Maar dit is ieders persoonlijke voorkeur, van ons had het wat koeler gemogen, met name in de nacht. De eigenaresse niet gezien, maar de vader van de eigenaresse heeft ons goed begeleid en was zeer aardig. Kwam ook nog twee keer terug om te kijken of alles nog naar wens was.

Alles war sehr nett und freundlich. Uns wurde immer weiter geholfen und die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Appartement war sehr schön eingerichtet. Es hat alles gepasst. Eine zusätzliche kleine Pfanne in der Küchenausstattung wäre super 😊
