Our answers to your questions
Yes, in our Kaisergebirge nature reserve there is a strict ban on taking off, which has been declared by the landowners.
Paragliders are often mistaken by chamois and other wild animals for birds of prey, triggering flight responses that can, in the worst case, lead to falls and fatal injuries.
The flight restrictions in the Kaiser Mountains are therefore first and foremost in place to protect local wildlife.

In Ellmau, use of the designated take-off and landing zones is only permitted with prior registration.
