What does it really mean to help?

For 14 years, the Tyrolean Manuela Erber-Telemaque has been grappling with this question. In her lecture “What Really Matters – Rethinking Help,” she takes visitors to Tshumbe in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and provides personal insights into her work and experiences on the ground.

What began 14 years ago with the desire to make a difference has developed into a long-term project. With the aid organization “Future for Tshumbe” that she founded, Manuela works together with the local people to create sustainable structures in the areas of education, health, and agriculture.
