... following in the footsteps of the mountain doctor ... The Hinterschnabel farm is mentioned in the village history around 1694. In 1985, Mr. Johann Leitner took over his mother's farm. Before the film crew from NDF-Bergdoktor noticed the farm, the residential house was empty. Meadows and fields are still farmed by Mr. Leitner. The living area was gladly handed over to the Bergdoktor film team and lovingly converted into a practice. The people of Ellmau are proud of the new landmark that is now admired each week by around 7 million television viewers and inspires a longing for vacation...
