Peak tour to the highest peak of Wilder Kaiser - "Ellmauer Halt" via the "Gamssänger" via ferrata
with the Schonner Alpine School
On this all-day tour for proficient mountaineers, you follow a qualified mountain guide on the history-steeped trails in the impressive Wilder Kaiser mountain massif. From Wochenbrunner Alm (1.085m), we head to the Gruttenhütte, then up into the large gravel cirque and over the Gamsängersteig trail (B/C) straight up to the highest peak in the Wilder Kaiser Range (2.344m). Fitness for an approximately 4-hour climb, surefootedness, a good head for heights and sturdy boots are essential.

Registration: until Thursday, 12 online or at the tourist info Wilder Kaiser
Participants: min. 4 - max. 6 persons (2 - 3 people possible with surcharge)
Price: € 98, including climbing gear, payment in cash directly at the guide
You need: hiking gear, good shoes, at least 1,5l water, snack, sun- and rainprotection,
Perfect for: adults - teenagers on request, fitness for an approximately 4-hour climb (ca. 1325hm & 10km), surefootedness, a good head for heights are essential

Start: at 06:50am at Wochenbrunner Alm, Wochenbrunnweg 44, 6352 Ellmau
Meeting point: 08:20am at the Gruttenhütte with the mountain guide. You will receive detailed information about the ascent and route to the Gruttenhütte from the mountain guide the day before via WhatsApp or email. You are also welcome to start earlier and take a longer break at the hut or have breakfast.
