MOUNTAIN TOUR TO THE HIGHEST PEAK OF THE WILDER KAISER - ‘ELLMAUER HALT’
Ascent via the ‘Gamssänger’ via ferrata with the Schonner Alpine School
From the Wochenbrunner Alm (1,085m) you climb up through forest and alpine pastures to the Gruttenhütte. From there, the path becomes rocky until you reach the start of the Gamssängersteig (A, B, C). This via ferrata takes you up to the highest point of the Wilder Kaiser, secured on a wire rope and/or additionally on the rope of a state-certified mountain guide, via footholds, ladders and rocky paths! On the airy summit of the ‘ELLMAUER HALT’...
