The hike starts after a pleasant ride with the Astbergbahn chairlift around the Astbergsee with a magnificent view of the Wild Kaiser. Following trail No. 9, it goes through forests and over root paths towards Rauher Kopf and further to Kathen, where a beautiful view of the Kitzbüheler Horn opens up. Afterwards, the route follows the Elferweg across alpine areas, past several alpine huts, and through varied forest passages...
