Over 65 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails

The gently undulating landscape at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser is perfect for cross-country skiing in Tirol. Ready for a few laps outdoors? Beginners and experts alike will love the well-groomed cross-country ski trails that connect the four villages of Going, Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll. Day and night: Scheffau also offers the possibility to go cross-country skiing in the evening on the floodlit village track.

Floodlit night trail in Scheffau

Head to Scheffau for an extra-special cross-country ski experience: The 1.2 km night trail in Scheffau, which receives additional artificial snow cover, is floodlit until 9:30 pm. This is cross-country skiing like you’ve never experience before in Austria! The cross-country ski trail also provides an ideal connection to the villages of Söll or Ellmau. Now, cross-country skis can also be used at night just like their downhill cousins!
