The Wilder Kaiser Tourism Association supports all businesses seeking certification with the Austrian Ecolabel. Many interested hosts from Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll have already taken part in free information sessions, and some are now actively undergoing the certification process. The Ecolabel is awarded once all mandatory criteria are met and a required number of points are achieved from the recommended targets. The comprehensive catalogue of criteria covers areas such as operations management, environmental management, energy, water, waste, cleaning, hygiene, construction, food, transport and more. Certification with the Austrian Ecolabel is open to all tourism businesses.
